Curved long curtain track and poles are often utilised in new build homes and in line with modern architecture. We recently completed the 1st phase of the project at the Corniche Building, Albert Embankment, London (SE1) which includes several inward curved tracks. We provided corded white metal tracks by Silent Gliss. The curtains and sheers with Wave heading gave a fluid look on these attractive and non-standard curved bay windows. Our curtain installers had to template the window as the curve was a non-standard radius.
The dual curtain metal curtain tracks were provided with the Wave option and adjustable brake. This ensures the folding of the wave remains neat and in place whilst in the stacked position.
This new build project provided ceiling pockets for the curtain rails to sit within which conceal the curved long curtain tracks giving the vision of the curtains dropping out of the ceiling.
OTRT can also offer pre-build advice for your project to ensure that you can achieve this slick look. To have both sheer/voile and curtain rails within the ceiling pocket space has to be provided for the product.
